Comment...

Steed and Mrs. Peel are asked to test a new top secret device, 'the long distance ear', which has been developed to 'pick up the faintest sound at a distance of several miles'.   They are attacked by Kroger and Hendrik, two international spies, who want to steal the device.

In an unconvincing attempt to replicate the TV show's relaxed attitude, the pair pause for lunch before continuing their search for the villains.
