The Squire tells Steed that his deductions are for naught he has packed a large quantity of gunpowder in the tunnel which will blow a large hole in the motorway. When Steed points out that the museum will also be destroyed, the Squire tells Steed that he would rather destroy his life’s work than see it engulfed by a modern concrete monstrosity.
