JOHN STEED and Tara King are investigating mysterious happenings that
have occurred at the South Down government research establishment. They discover
that an enormous beanstalk has grown there overnight, and when they climb to
the top they find they are in an incredible cloud land.

WHILE
investigating mysterious happenings at the South Down government research establishment,
John Steed and Tara King are captured by a giant living in a cloud land at the
top of a beanstalk. They have almost escaped when they are overtaken by
the giant.

Tara starts to head down the beanstalk while Steed fights off the giant with his swordstick. He jabs the giant in the thumb and takes advantage of the giants discomfort to escape. Tara looks up beyond Steed and can see the giant coming after them. They appear to be doomed, but Jasmine, the goose who lays the golden eggs flies towards them and offers to give them a lift. As they fly away she says that it is her pleasure to help them as she has never liked the giant. She puts them down at the bottom of the beanstalk, and they look up to see the giant still descending. A BEAN, taken from a strange toy scientist's set, has grown an enormous
beanstalk and Steed and Tara King find a terrible giant living at the top of
it. Jasmine, a goose that lays golden eggs, flies the Avengers to safety,
but the giant comes climbing down the beanstalk after them....
