Part One - January 29th 1966:

Emma gets ready for the garden party

Daring and pretty secret agent Emma Peel.. week after week you thrill to her adventures in A.B.C. Television's "The Avengers". Now, for the first time, we're telling the story of Emma as a girl.
Emma Knight, as she was then, lost her mother when she was ten. After that she and her father, shipping magnate Sir John Knight, travelled the world on their yacht Ocean Queen. And when Emma was fourteen she had her first big adventure....

Part Two - February 5th 1966:
Emma and her Father, Sir John, were visiting the small Middle Eastern Kingdom of Fezra. Sir John went to a garden party at King Abdullah's palace, while Emma explored the town. There, she helped a nice boy Potter, Hassan, to elude some palace guards who seemed to be trying to arrest him for no good reason. But though Hassan escaped, Emma didn't - and was herself taken to the palace under arrest!.

Part Three - February 12th 1966:

Emma finds a photograph of Hassan
"Love conquers all, my darling, please remember that. Hassan".

Emma and her Father, Sir John, were at a palace garden party given by King Abdullah, ruler of Fezra. Emma was determined to meet the King's daughter, Princess Asha, said to be confined to her apartment with a headache. She was convinced the princess did not know what an unpleasant person she planned to marry - Sheik Abul. Disguised as a boy waiter, Emma gave Sheik Abul the slip and got into the palace.

Part Four - February 19th 1966:
Emma longed with all her heart to meet the beautiful, warm-hearted Princess Asha, especially to warn her that her fiancé, Sheik Abul, was a bad and ruthless man. Disguised as a waiter, she entered Asha's suite, which was guarded. The princess had got out by a secret escape route and when she came back she accused Emma of trying to steal both a dress and a treasured photograph. Emma was far too excited to feel embarassed.

Part Five - February 26th 1966:
Emma had made friends with the beautiful, warm-hearted Princess Asha of Fezra, who was being forced to marry the cold and ruthless Sheik Abul of Abul Babul. Although she was in love with Hassan, a talented and handsome young craftsman.
When Abul discovered the secret escape route from Asha's apartment, and blocked it off, it looked as though her hopes of eloping with Hassan were completely crushed. But a plan was forming in Emma's mind.

Part Six - March 5th 1966:

Emma bluffs the Fezran Chief of Police
The Fezran Chief of Police duped by Our Emma.

For the beautiful Princess Asha of Fezra, everything looked hopeless. She was imprisoned in her apartment until the day of her wedding to the unpleasant Sheik Abul of Abul Babul, while her true love Hassan, a handsome young potter with whom she had planned to elope, was a fugitive, but Emma had a plan. The first step was to get Hassan safely smuggled aboard her Father's yacht, Ocean Queen, without the police finding out. She had hidden the young man in a huge vase - a supposed "souvenir" from the temple ruins of Jezbah!
