A NEW power station is being constructed on the edge of a loch in a remote part of the Scottish Highlands, and at midnight the night shift down tools for a meal break.

A new power station is being built on the edge of a loch in a remote part of the Scottish Highlands. At midnight the night shift down tools for a meal break. One of the workers draws the others’ attention to some strange tracks he has found – they have come out of the loch, but they are like nothing he has ever seen before. They follow them. On reaching the canteen they find that it looks like a bulldozer has hit it. The chef tells the workers that a monster came out of the loch and ate all the food. Despite the tracks they think the chef has had a bang on the head. They hear a movement behind the canteen and swing a light round to see what it is. It is a huge monster. The next day in London, Mother asks Steed and Ms. King to go up to Scotland and investigate.

Part Two - Issue 1053, February 19th 1972
MEN working on the construction of a new power station in the Scottish Highlands are attacked by a monster from a loch. John Steed and Tara King are sent in to investigate.

Part Three - Issue 1054, February 26th 1972
A MONSTER from a loch has attacked men building a power station. The site manager tells Steed and Tara that he believes a cranky old Professor Tweed, who lives at the far end of the loch from the power station, has invented some mechanical monster to frighten the men and stop work. Steed and Tara row along the loch to visit the professor when....

Part Four - Issue 1055, March 4th 1972
JOHN STEED and Tara King are investigating the appearance of a monster from a loch in the Highlands. Their boat capsizes on the loch and Tara is saved by the monster. Still soaking wet, they call at the house of Professor Tweed, a man suspected of having some sinsister connection with the creature.
